Your Final Step Toward Degree Conferral
Students in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences must submit a Degree Petition form to their Department Registrar to be considered for degree conferral.
Important Deadlines
- December Degrees: Petition due by September 1
- May Degrees: Petition due by February 15
May Degrees
You may submit petitions while still completing required coursework only during the spring term.
December Degrees
Petitions for December degrees may be submitted when all degree requirements have been satisfied.
Process
- Complete the Degree Petition form.
- Submit the form to your Department Registrar by the designated deadline.
- Ensure all degree requirements will be met by the conferral date.
