Enter your NetID and password (if you are not already logged into CAS)
Click the green “Propose New Course” button; a new window will open (check your popup settings if the window does not open)
Start by first selecting the appropriate school you are proposing a course in and then enter course information; fields outlined in red are required
If you do not know the course number, please enter “TBD” for a course number; a number later can be added later
Click the small blue “?” icons next to field titles to display help text
Click “Save Changes” to save your proposal and finish it later
Click “Start Workflow” to submit the proposal and start workflow
If you need to propose the same course in another school, you may use the “Propose New Course from Existing Course” button after submitting the first proposal; first click “Propose New Course” and then select this option from the top right of the proposal form, making sure to change the School from the dropdown before making any changes and submitting
Enter your NetID and password (if you are not already logged into CAS)
Enter the course subject code and number (separated by a space) in the text box, then click the green “Search” button
You may also search by title keyword: add an asterisk (*) before and after keyword(s) and click “Search”
Click once on any search result to open a course detail window
Click the green “Edit Course” button to the right of the course detail to open the editing window
If you do not see a green “Edit Course” button, the course is already in approval workflow; please write to courseleaf@yale.edu to request course changes
Click the small blue “?” icons next to field titles to display pop-up help
Click “Save Changes” to save your proposal and finish it later
Click “Save & Submit” to submit the proposal and start workflow
